The location

Between olive groves and the sea

The house sits on a quiet residential street on the eastern edge of the village, within walking distance of the old centre.

Carovigno is a town of some 17,000 residents in the province of Brindisi, in the north of Salento. It sits on a hill a few kilometres from the Adriatic coast, surrounded by ancient olive groves.

Its centro storico is white and compact, with the Castello Dentice di Frasso at its centre, and is quieter than neighbouring Ostuni. Along the coast lie Santa Sabina and the protected Torre Guaceto nature reserve.
